Flagship event is the 1,650 Euro buy-in Irish Masters Main Event.

Paddy Power's annual Irish Winter Festival is back for a 10th year, with the festivities set to take place between October 22-25 at Dublin's Burlington hotel.

The three-day 1,650 Euro buy-in No Limit Texas holdem Irish Masters main event will once again feature as the festival's flagship event, beginning on Saturday the 23rd, the second day of the festivities.

Several other smaller tournaments are also included in the festival, amongst them the Irish Mythical Championship and the Blind Man's Bluff World Championship.

There are three ways to register for the 2010 Irish Winter Festival: qualify online via satellites on PaddyPowerPoker; register online by sending a full payment; or pay on the day, if any seats remain.

And tournament organizers are encouraging even those not actually participating to come and join in the fun. The Burlington Hotel is located in the middle of Dublin, renowned as one of Europe's party capitals.

The Irish Winter Festival began as a single tournament at Dublin's Merrion Card Club from 2001 to 2003, before joining on to the European Poker Tour for the four years following that.

Paddypowerpoker.com took over as the event's main sponsor in 2008, helping spark a rise in interest that saw some 423 players participate in the main event that year.
